Ctrl-Alt-Defeat Robotics

Ctrl-Alt-Defeat Robotics was established in the summer of 2024 as a team of neurodivergent kids who were struggling to find a place in elementary robotics programs. Giving them the space to be themselves with the support that they needed has allowed them to excel. We have won 4 tournaments and 6 awards in the last two years.

Indy Ignite STEM Fest 2026

Central Indiana's pro women's volleyball team, the Indy Ignite, are hosting a family-friendly STEM event for Kids on March 8 at 3:30PM.

Kids will have the chance to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on activities led by local Indiana companies and non-profit organizations.

Ctrl-Alt-Defeat was invited as the sole robotics team for this year's inaugural STEM Fest at the Fishers Events Center. We will have a competition field and multiple robots for kids to learn about this year's VEX IQ game - Mix & Match!

As part of your ticket to STEM Fest, families will also get to watch the Ignite take on Grand Rapids that evening.

You can learn more about VEX IQ Robotics at parents.vex.com and the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation at recf.org.

TechPoint Youth ensures Indiana's underserved and underrepresented K-12 students have access to experiential STEM learning. Their robotics program teaches mechanical and electrical engineering, computer programming, design, prototyping, and critical thinking through hands-on VEX robotics. Through their efforts, Indiana has grown from 399 to 1,680 VEX teams — the most in the nation. They were the source of a grant for our first robot, field, and game pieces.
